Shipping & Returns

Domestic Shipping (within Australia)

Please allow 2-3 business days for processing and handling of your order. All domestic orders over $400 will be sent via Australia Post Express at no extra charge. These parcels will be sent with tracking & signature upon delivery. 

Orders under $400 will have a flat fee of $15 for express shipping Australia wide. 

Please note, due to the COVID-19, your parcels may experience slight delays in arriving to you. We apologise for this, but in no way can control the parcel once it leaves our hands.

International Shipping

International shipping can be quoted for customers outside of Australia. Unfortunately That Golden Gal is only able to ship to the following countries currently: New Zealand, USA, UK and Canada. Please email hello@thatgoldengal.com, or reach our via DM on Instagram for a quote for international shipping rates or to query another country. 

Taxes, customs and duty

International parcels and deliveries may be subject to tax, customs or duties charges upon arrival to your country. As the purchaser you are responsible for these charges. In no way is that golden gal responsible for these potential charges. 

Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

Due to the nature of being a small business, we are unable to offer refunds on our pieces. If a piece arrives and the information in the listing has been proven to be inaccurate, we are happy to organise a return in exchange for store credit. Please contact us within 7 days of the confirmed delivery date. Once we have confirmed that you are eligible for a return, please follow these steps:

  • Package the jewel with all original packaging and send it back to us, boxed, within 10 days of the delivery date.
  • Packages must be sent back using the same shipping method (standard/express, tracked and insured) and shipping costs are to be covered by the buyer.
  • Any items deemed eligible for a return must be returned in the original condition. If a piece has been altered or changed in any way it will no be eligible for a return or refund in any kind of way. 

All of the pieces sold by that golden gal are pre-loved and as such, will have sight signs of wear in accordance with their age. We take great care when selecting pieces for sale, however, please take great care making your selection as returns or refunds for change of mind will not be permitted. Where possible we will photograph and list any major signs or wear or damage (we like to think of dents as little love marks that show a previous life). In the rare case we miss any small love marks and your piece arrives and you are not satisfied with the condition, we apologise profusely and ask that you reach out and contact us for a solution. If you require more information or photos please simply reach out to hello@thatgoldengal.com as we will do what we can to provide the information you are looking for. 

    Regarding the colour of your gold 

    Due to the different levels of copper and other materials in gold over the years, vintage/antique gold might appear different to its modern day version (older gold can sometimes lean more towards the rosier colour due to copper levels). Rather than being put off by this, we at that golden gal embrace all the various shades of gold that history has to offer and truly think they all look great together. Where possible, we will always try to accurately photograph and describe gold colours in the listing. If you are ever in any doubt, please simply reach out and we can take some more photos for you. Returns will not be permitted due to the shade of gold not being what you expected. 

    Please keep in mind that:

    • We do not offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect choice. Please take great care when selecting your pieces and always reach out if you need clarification on anything. 
    • Sometimes it can be hard to gauge the accurate size of a piece from a photo alone. Please refer to the measurements in the listing for accurate information. Most pieces will have extra photos on instagram, please check out @thatgoldengal for on-body photos and reach out if you need any extra images. 
    • If an item was purchased on sale (including store wide discounts/coupons)—it is deemed as final sale and not eligible for a return or refund. 
    • If a piece was altered in anyway (e.g. resizing, engravings etc), this makes your order a final sale and is not eligible for a return, refund or exchange.
    • Items purchased on layaway are eligible for an exchange or store credit only (no refunds).
