In a world obsessed with fast fashion, filled with unethical production and unsustainable practices, we want to carve out a space for those who want to consume a little differently. 

While the jewellery industry is often very glittery to look at, there is a not so wonderful side to it when you learn that around 18 tonnes of waste is produced just to make one gold ring. Add to that a gem industry that is fraught with slave labour and cruelty and you might be left wondering how you can have nice jewels without the horrible toll to the earth and it's people.

Well, that is where we come in. 

That golden gal was born from the idea of giving new life back into old and unloved gold. Ever since I was a small child I have been obsessed with gold and jewellery and have been hunting for places to buy it since I had my first job and my own money to spend. Over the years I realised just how much gold jewellery is already out there in the world, and just how much of it is sitting unloved on the shelves of old vintages stores, stuffed into the back of the peoples jewellery boxes or hidden away in small towns no one visits. 

So I'm on a mission to collect up all of that beautiful old gold that is out there and to help reunite it with you, it's new and proud owner. I will repurpose stones, repair pieces, dismantle and re-make where needed. But I will do it in a way that relies on materials already in existence and not newly mined. 

Where possible (which is almost all of it), my packaging will be both recycled AND recyclable.
